Korn: Mit Korn etwas anderes als Apfelkorn herzustellen, ist Selbstmord, denn im Prinzip schmeckt Korn scheiße. Korn muss aus Getreide hergestellt werden und mindestens 32% haben, ansonsten kann da im Prinzip alles drin sein. Doppelkorn ist zweimal gebrannt, Frühstückskorn einfach schön.

Grappa: Das Nationalgetränk Italiens. Genau.

Lasst mich kurz erklären, was Grappa ist, dann versteht sich mein Urteil leichter.

Grappa ist ein s.g. Tresterbrand, es werden also Obstabfälle aller Art in einem großen Topf gekocht und dann teilweise unter Zuckerzusatz vergoren, anschließend gebrannt.

Ich habe keine Worte für die Idee, als die tatsächliche Definition: Schnaps aus Abfall.

Die Grappafreunde mögen schreien und zetern, die Tatsache, dass man durch riesigen Aufwand ein trinkbares Getränk daraus gemacht hat, macht es nicht besser. Nimmt man einen von sich aus angenehmen Rohstoff, so ist das Produkt einfacher besser zu machen und auch absolut von höherem Genusspotential. Dieser Absatz steht hier aus rein pädagogischen Gründen.

Korn: If you make something else with Korn than Apfelkorn, you’re basicaly commiting suicide, because on principle Korn doesn’t taste good. Korn has to be made from grain and have over 32% alcohol, others than that it could be anything. Doppelkorn is destilled twice, Frühstückskorn (breakfast korn) simply beautiful.

Grappa: Italy’s national beverage. Yeah right…

Let me explain very briefly what grappa is exactly, so my judgment is easier to understand.

Grappa is a so called pomace brandy, that means that fruit garbage of every origin is cooked up, fermented, partially with plied sugar, and then destilled.

I lack words for the idea but the real definition: Made from garbage.

The friends of grappa may scratch my eyes out, but the fact that you produce a drinkable beverage under extremely high efford doesn’t make this better. If you simply take a enjoyable basic ingredient, you can produce a tastier produce much more simply and have a higher absolute enjoyment potential, too. I only included grappa here for educational purposes.
